Grundomat Front Expander
GRUNDOMAT Front End Expanders are used to enlarge the hole after the initial bore has been completed. They are designed for use with GRUNDOMAT pneumatic piercing tools when a larger final bore diameter is needed for pipe, conduit, cable, or utility installation.
Each expander is designed to be used with a pulling attachment and a steel cable. For proper operation, the expander must be assisted by a power winch or other pulling equipment to maintain continuous tension on the cable during the bore enlargement process.
Front End Expanders are recommended for occasional use only and are a practical accessory for contractors who need to increase bore size after the pilot bore has already been made.
