Grundomat 145P (5 3/4 in.) (New)

The GRUNDOMAT 145 P is a heavy-duty 5 3/4 in. pneumatic piercing tool built for trenchless installation of pipes, cables, conduit, and utility lines. Powered by compressed air, this cylindrical air-hammer drives through the ground to create a clean underground bore without open-cut trenching.

What contractors use it for: boring under roads, railways, parking lots, and other surface structures to install water and gas lines, sewer laterals, casing, and larger conduit runs — no open-cut trenching, no surface restoration. Requires a 120 CFM tow-behind compressor.

As a pneumatic mole, the GRUNDOMAT 145 P performs well in displaceable soils such as sand, loam, and gravel, including soil conditions with fracturable rocks. It is not designed for solid rock or unfracturable rocks, and very soft soils may affect accuracy because the tool’s own weight can cause deviation.
