If the kit includes a remote display, check whether it receives data from the receiver. If you cannot test a function, mark it as untested.

The offer depends on the exact receiver and transmitter models, whether they pair and calibrate correctly, the condition of the screen, trigger, housing, and battery contacts, and the number of included accessories. A complete working kit with a transmitter, remote display, batteries, charger, and case normally has more value than a receiver sold separately.
