The classic F5 supports several transmitter types:

  • F5D 19/12 and F5D 12/1.3 dual-frequency transmitters;
  • F5Dp 19/12 and F5Dp 12/1.3 fluid-pressure transmitters;
  • F5X 18 and F5X 8 single-frequency transmitters;
  • compatible FS, FX, FXL, and FC cable transmitters.

The transmitter model and frequency directly affect compatibility and value. If you do not know which transmitter you have, send clear photos of its model marking, serial number, battery cap, pressure ports, and temperature indicator.

For an initial evaluation, send us:

  • photos of the receiver from all sides;
  • a photo of the powered-on startup screen;
  • the receiver serial number, software version, and regional designation;
  • the transmitter model and available frequencies;
  • photos of the FSD remote display and its serial label;
  • photos of the batteries, charger, case, and other accessories;
  • a description of missing parts, previous repairs, and known faults.

If possible, check whether the receiver passes its startup test, selects the correct transmitter type and frequency, completes calibration, and displays depth, pitch, roll, temperature, and signal strength. For an F5Dp transmitter, check whether the receiver displays fluid pressure. Also confirm whether DataLog opens and records bore information and whether the FSD receives data from the receiver.

Report damaged pressure ports, overheated transmitters, cracked housings, faulty toggles, trigger or keypad problems, unreadable screens, corroded battery contacts, charger faults, and telemetry errors. Mark any function you cannot test as untested.

The offer depends on the receiver and transmitter models, available frequencies, regional compatibility, calibration results, pressure-monitoring operation, DataLog operation, FSD condition, and kit completeness. A matched working system normally has more value than separate components.

You do not need to repair the equipment before contacting us. Describe its current condition and send clear photos so we can review the F5 system before arranging shipment.
